28 Ways to Make Money Blogging and become millionare

When I began my blogging journey, I knew that I wanted to monetize my blog. I started off with direct ad sales which did really well, but I only had 7 spaces for image ads which greatly hindered how much I made. So I decided to add Google Adsense (ad network) to the mix and this too did well, until my site was hacked and I was banned from Google Adsense for invalid click activity which was not my doing. Again, I needed to diversify my income stream, this time I focused on affiliate marketing.

As you can see things are constantly changing on the web, and if you want to make it as a monetized blogger, you need to heavily diversify your revenue streams. While direct ad sales and ad networks are great places to start, you’ll want to make sure that you’re eyes are open to all of the different opportunities out there.
Here are 28 ways you can earn income with your blog…

Sponsored Blog Posts:

Blogvertise:

Written:
Written has a unique approach for paying bloggers for content. At Written they pay you on a monthly basis, for licensing articles from your site to help companies with their content marketing strategies. To get started, sign up for an account and connect it to Google Analytics. Once a company sees an article that they like on your blog, they make an offer to license it on their site for a set period of time, for a certain amount of money each month. During this time the article is redirected from your site to the advertisers site. When the contract is over the article is redirected back to your site. Payments are made monthly via PayPal.

Affiliate Marketing and Sales:
Affiliate marketing is a way that publishers can earn income by referring and recommending products and services on their blog. Say for instance you have a website on fashion trends, as an affiliate marketer you would place banner ads, blog posts, reviews, and/or send out newsletter promos, or social media updates for fashion related products and services free of charge. In return you will earn a commission on every product that is sold through your affiliate link, or on every lead that is generated through your site. While you can search on your own for affiliate programs, the providers below offer some of the best affiliate programs on the web – make sure to check them out.

FlexOffers:
FlexOffers is an affiliate marketing network, where publishers can gain access to millions of products and services that can be promoted through text links, banner ads, templates, and other applications. Payments are made via check or direct deposit, weekly and monthly, once you hit a $100 threshold. Some companies that are part of the FlexOffers family are Macy’s, Target, Best Buy, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble and many more. This platform is super easy to use and with all of the great companies, it’s easy to meet and exceed the payment threshold.

Share A Sale:
Share A Sale is an affiliate network where bloggers and publishers can connect with thousands of big name brands, in fact there are over 2,500 merchants to connect with. Each of these companies has a different type of product that they are selling, and their ready to send money your way for each customer that you bring to them. Payments are made via check and direct deposit monthly, once you’ve reached a $100 threshold. Current merchants include Adidas, Zulily, Craftsy, Johnston & Murphy, Tiny Prints and many more. One of my favorite affiliate networks, easy to use, tons of great merchants to choose from, and I never have a problem meeting the monthly payment threshold.

Skimlinks:
Skimlinks is another automated affiliate platform. Bloggers can apply for approval into the network, once you’re approved simply paste a special code on to your site and you’re ready to go. Links will automatically be added to your content, and you’ll start making money from clicks. Refer other bloggers into the program and double your earnings.

Viglink:
Viglink is an easy way for bloggers and online publishers to automate their affiliate marketing. Simply sign up and paste the dedicated code that they give you on to your website. When these links are clicked on and your readers make a purchase, you’ll earn cash. You can earn even money money by adding Viglinks to your Facebook and Twitter updates or through your email account. Viglink works with companies like Amazon, Anthropologie, Avon… in fact they have over 30,000 companies that they are affiliated with. Refer other bloggers and friends to sign up for Viglink and make even more money.

Working with Brands:
Working with brands on various promotional campaigns can be a great way to earn money through your blog. Many companies will pay for sponsored blog posts, Twitter parties, as well as giveaways and review opportunities. While you can contact companies on your own, it can be difficult to break in — this is where third party connectors can help aid in the process. While your earnings will tend to be less when you work with a third party connector, it does get your foot in the door. And depending on the success of your promotion, you could be asked to become a brand ambassador or blogger for the company, which means stable income.
Here are some of the major third party connectors you can sign up with.
