 | | Five FeaTureS u should know1. 3D EffectsAmazon developers are calling this feature “Dynamic Perspective” because the images on the screen move when you do–a feature that proves especially perceptive in the maps tool and when playing games. When using Amazon’s map tool, the screen shows landmarks in 3-D images that move when you move the phone, giving you a better sense of location and help prevent you from getting lost. Bezos and his team also made the lock or homepage screens with this 3D perspective. Watch as Bezos demonstrates this feature:
 2. No More Finger SwipingAs you may have noticed in Bezos’s demonstration from the above video, the Amazon CEO wasn’t using his finger to go from one screen to another. Instead of giving your thumb or index finger a workout, the Amazon Fire hands the action of swiping the screen of your phone  (to scroll through photos or turn pages of an e-book, for example) to your wrist. With just the flick or a wrist–right or left–the you can go to the next page or app. The Amazon Fire also features “auto scrolling” which allows you to read articles without employing your fingers to scroll the page up or down–simply tilt the phone up or down to continue reading, or to scroll to the top of the page.
 3. ”Firefly” ButtonThis particular feature goes beyond QR codes and can scan barcodes, book covers, magazines–basically anything you can buy–and take you to Amazon’s site for purchase. When you press the “Firefly” button, the phone will scan any item (it can even identify songs and videos by listening to audio) and help guide your next purchase. Amazon boasts the ability to identify more than 100 million items, and they don’t all lead back to your Amazon.com shopping cart. You can also scan a box of cereal or tub of ice cream and access the nutrition info in a separate app.

 4. Tangle-Proof Headphones (Yes, Really!)Amazon’s new smartphone boasts one thing all consumers will likely be excited for: tangle-proof headphones. Bezos noted that the magnetized headphones won’t get tangled in knots the way that normally frustrates you. These earbuds come with a flat cable that doesn’t knot as easily. The split cords lead to the earbuds, which are magnetized to help prevent tangling when stored in a pocket or other storage. Bezos promised these new earbuds are “comfortable and ergonomic.”

 5. “Mayday” buttonOwners of the Kindle Fire HDX are already familiar with the “Mayday” button, which is an on-demand tech support feature. Whenever you need help using your device, just hit “Mayday” and someone from Amazon will answer your call and assist you. Each Mayday representative will have the ability to take control of your device to help guide you
